In the centre of Milan, there is an extraordinary place of unexpected beauty.
It is the Rotonda di Via Besana, a late Baroque complex from the 18th century surrounded by a public garden covering over 7,000 square metres.
But the real surprise is what comes to life in this magical place where children and adults never stop playing and learning, where the future of our community is determined by the priority we give to our children.
It is called MUBA and it is the Children's Museum of Milan.

The Museum

MUBA is Milan's Children's Museum, a place where, for over 25 years, children have not only learned, but also experimented and discovered the world through play and direct experience.
MUBA is a cultural centre that stimulates creative thinking, but it is not limited to young children: it also offers cultural projects for all ages.
From visits dedicated to secondary schools and universities, to training for teachers, educators and professionals in the sector, to thematic conferences focused on temporary play exhibitions.
In 2023, MUBA celebrated its 25th anniversary and to mark this milestone, it published “25 voci x 25 anni” (25 voices x 25 years), a collection of testimonials edited by journalist Chiara Pasqualetti Johnson. It is a journey through the words of those who have contributed to writing the history of the museum.
On 7 December 2023, MUBA received the Ambrogino d'Oro from the Municipality of Milan, a prestigious award given to individuals and organisations that have made a special contribution to the city.
